Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Scope4 website and its associated APIs (the "Service") operated by Scope4 ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1. Service and License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your own internal business purposes.

2. User Obligations and Acceptable Use

• You must provide accurate and complete information when requesting access to the Service.
• You are responsible for securing your API keys and credentials.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service.
• Abuse of any free trial or builder tier, including creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, is strictly forbidden.

3. Data and Intellectual Property

• Your Data: You retain all ownership rights to the data you submit to the Service. We do not claim any ownership over your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
• Our Service: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (including all intellectual property rights) are and will remain the exclusive property of Scope4.
• Data Redistribution: You are expressly forbidden from systematically reselling or redistributing the data obtained from the API to third parties without prior written consent from Scope4. Integrating our data into a larger product or service for your end-users is permitted, but direct resale of the raw data is not.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the data provided will be error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scope4 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes.
